Chimney decommissioned with cracked brickwork

Brick Chimney has cracks, it has been decommissioned . What are the options for ensuring this is not a hazard? Please advise with a ballpark figure .... can be on a hypothetical basis of a “standard job” as we are trying to decide re purchase of property and cost for maintenance.
