We are having a new log burner installed onto an existing brick hearth. To pass Council consent, we need to add a further inch to the front edge of the hearth. We figure the only way we can do this is to lift the carpet and have another row of bricks laid, then have the carpet trimmed and relaid. The fire is being installed this Friday 29th July so ideally we would need the row of bricks laid before Thursday 28th July. Could we please have a quote for laying probably 10 bricks onto an existing concrete floor, joining to existing brick hearth.
