Build Brick planter box

We have two brick planters already with box hedge and rose bushes in and we'd like a third to match these two and to cover up steps that now lead to nothing, as we renovated and replaced a door with a wall. We have bricks to use up that came out of our chimney we removed. In the photo the area indicated is where we'd like it built.
