St Paul’s Entrance

Historic St Pauls Papanui church at 1 Harewood Road, Papanui, Christchurch (the oldest building in Papanui) is looking for quotes to re-lay its existing narrow entrance way and improve it. Conceptual: 1. Remove the two concrete block columns and lights. 2. Cut the two wings back at least two courses of bricks, leaving the rest, to widen the drive for modern vehicles. 3. Re-Build new columns onto end of reduced wings with new poles and attach new electric lights to top with a light style we have in mind. 4. Face the outer facing concrete blocks with schist brick tiles as per the letterbox at Golden Age a block down the road. 5. Commission and fix new iron or bronze letters “St Paul’s Papanui” to the schist. John ( People’s Warden) for more details. Just a quote at this stage.
