We are in the process of doing our due diligence before bidding at auction for a property in Halswell. Our builder’s report has come back saying there are a several areas of cracking mortar on the exterior surface (horizontal and vertical). There are approximately 10 cracks (pictured). How much should I expect to pay to get these repaired? Or is this a sign of foundation issues? The home was built in 1972 (summerhill stone) and is categorised as TC3. Repairs were done on the foundation post-quake, and bricks replaced.
