Repointing a glass brick window

I have a glass brick window in my kitchen, installed 1986. The pointing is loose though it doesn't appear to be about to fall out. The kitchen is being replaced so there will soon be a kitchen cabinet up to the bottom of the window and in 2 to 3 weeks a bench. It will have architraves around it. Each glass brick is 190mm square.
