The lower level of our recently-purchased 1970s house is clad in fibre cement board (approximately 40 sqm of fibre cement, in large sheets). We've sent a sample off for testing, but suspect it is asbestos-containing as someone has gone to the effort of sealing all the cut edges relatively recently. We would like quotes for having the fibre cement sheets safely removed, and replaced with weatherboard.
