Asbestos Roof testing

I suspect the coating on the roof i am flatting in is asbestos. It is crumbling and flaking off and that has me concerned. My landlord tells me it was re coated years ago and i definitely don't believe him..I'd like to know the cost to analyse a sample and the recourse if the result turns out positive.
