Make internal stairs to lower bedroom

Currently our third bedroom is accessed from the outside. We would like to create internal stairs from the upper floor down to this bedroom. There used to external stairs from the upper floor down to the outside, but these were removed by the previous owners. Rather than replace the external stairs we would like to replace them with internal stairs. This would require at least some, maybe small maybe large, changes to the house layout and possibly parts of the exterior.
