There has been an extension to our house. See picture attached. As part of this there is a joist already going to support the roof (skillion Roof above). Unfortunately it does not go to one exterior wall, so I want to extend this a further 900mm and remove existing HWC cupboard. Currently the opening is 2,140mm wide. The beam is made up of 2x 190x50mm wide joists glued together. I want to extend this to become 900mm wider, moving the support from the wall in the HWC cupboard to the outside wall of the house. I am expecting will need a building consent for this, so after quote to complete design for this work to lodge/achieve a building consent and then a price for a producer statement if required. If you can also please indicate timeframe of or this. Location is Richmond, Tasman

David completed a small building consent application for me to replace a load bearing beam. Everything completed as advised and delivered as per quote and time expectations. Would definitely use again if I needed similar work.
