Job description
Hi all, We are looking to renovate our holiday home in Raetihi, and need specifications for council consent and for the builder to follow. We are wanting to remove 2x walls to create an open living space. A builder has checked these walls and has said that they are not load bearing, however a horizontal beam will need to be added to provide support for the ceiling. The council and builder require the specifications of this beam etc. Attached are schematics of the current floor plan and proposed floor plan. The kitchen window sits low and we will need to raise this to account for the kitchen bench top. A draft kitchen layout is attached as well. Any further questions, please fire these through! Riini is a fantastic communicator which was hugely appreciated when you don't understand the ins-and-outs of the business. He was incredibly prompt with getting the job underway, and completed the work before his estimated due date (he had a 2-week turnaround versus 8 weeks elsewhere!). Comparatively very low cost for architectural services. Riini was professional yet still had that down-to-earth personality. Couldn't fault him! 100% recommend.
