I have a section in Stanmore Bay, Whangaparaoa, Auckland. It is 1282 sq meters and sloping north to south. Height difference is about 12 meters. I have a topo survey in PDF and DXF forms. I want to have a small 2-storey house of about 75 - 200 square meters built from shipping containers. 20' high cube and 40' high cube containers. For than I need an architect design ready for building consent submission to Rodney council. The reason that I don't have exact house area specified is because the house needs to be cleverly positioned to get sun, seaview and be below 8 meter height restriction on my super-sloping section. Also, I'm planning to subdivide the section later, so second house footprint needs to be accounted for and having a shared driveway on this section accounts for a big part of 60% impervious surface. This house's roof will also be almost at the same level as driveway (close to the section entry), so it needs to be moved as far away from it as possible, while still being able to subdivide the section. So some very clever design is required. I already have the engineered driveway / retaining wall design (there is a screenhot in this job, can also send PDF). The containers will be insulated inside + GIB and cladded with wooden planks outside (see some design photos). Hitech design inside + cubism outside. So I’m looking for a designer who is familiar with container house designs or is willing to try it. Please note, that it is different from the usual NZ houses. I’m also attaching some rough designs that I did myself. If possible, please provide some price indication when replying.
