I would like a quote to undertake the site layout drawings as part of design/assessment for a Boarding Kennel business for dogs and cats. Below is an outline of what is required (as suggested by my Resource Management Consultant). “Site layout drawings . There are a number of building bulk and location standards that we should seek to comply with in the first instance. I have attached a copy of the standards that your draftsman can work off in the first instance. Any minor infringements should be identified on the plans and can be addressed via the resource consent process. . The driveway is to be reoriented to avoid potential sightline conflict with users of the state highway. . Up to a maximum of 40 animals are to be accommodated on the site at one time, comprising 20 cats and 20 dogs. . Indicative floor plan of the guest accommodation (“Community Hall”) will be required on the site plan, with reference to a kitchenette, rather than kitchen to avoid the need to obtain resource consent for a second dwelling.” I am arranging for a Topo survey to be undertaken of the property which will show all the main features, boundaries and levels (I was thinking a 10m by 10m grid more or less) let me know if you think there is anything else you would require. I may be able to purchase some kennel buildings for the dogs from a kennels where the owner is retiring and going travelling. Photos of what they look like are attached. I can get all the measurements of the current buildings next time I go for a look. These will be starter kennels which will be replaced with bigger and more modern ones, say a block at a time ,once the business is up and running and we have some money behind us, The drawings therefore need to be future proof where possible.
