Plans Needed for Granny Flat
Job description
We need to get a proper design drafted so that we can get building and resource consent to start our Granny Flat build. We have a licensed building practitioner ready to receive plans so that we can start this process as soon as possible. We are aiming to have this project completed by the end of the year if at all possible. In my attachments, please just ignore any irrelevant items such as shelves, etc., as these were added for more of a virtual walk-through to get a feel for space and usability. We are currently in the process of clearing the section, and our earthworks job could include digging holes for piles, but we need the design first to know where to put said holes. I will attach screenshots of our concept design which does assume a few things: a number of electrical power points in various locations throughout, plumbing and waterproofing, and insulation including underfloor polystyrene (if available and not cost prohibitive). I am happy to discuss by phone and/or arrange a site visit, and/or provide additional information as needed.
