1x Room extension + build

We would love help or a starting point to add an additional room to our house. This room/extension would form a lounge off our dining room so we then have a Kitchen, Dining and lounge open plan living. We own a 1960s old army house in Papakura so the lounge is effectively a room at the other end of the house. We don’t know where to start to make this happen. Unsure of any costs involved so no I don’t have a budget
