interior redesign of 1920s bungalow

I have a good idea of what I want done to the bungalow: 1. using two existing rooms at one of the large house, creating a self-contained two-room granny flat; 2. in the rest of the house, creating a new front entrance; 3. sealing off current entrance to create an extra bedroom; 4. knocking out floor to ceiling kitchen cupboards separating kitchen and dining room to create an open plan kitchen/living room; 5. relocating a couple of internal doors; 6. erecting one new internal wall to create the option of an extra room. I plan to do as much of the work as possible as a five-year project. I need somebody to advise and confirm that what I am planning is doable and also drafting plans for council consent.
