Converting Double Garage + Small Office Room into a 2 bedroom studio

We need the service of a draughtsman or architect in helping us make our vision come true. Essentially, I'm still learning about the difference between the services an architect and draughtsman provide, so welcome any interests from both professions. Our house is in Belmont Terrace, Milford, 0620. We have a double garage downstairs that connects to a small home office room before going up to the main house. We want to convert this place into a proper 2 bedroom place where we can rent out eventually for a long term tenant, so basic kitchenette, bathroom, toilets, are probably some of the important things. We need help in : 1. Coming up with ideas / drawings on creating the most practical, economical and function place for rental 2. Preparing all the documents to be submitted to the council for building consent / resource consent 3.
