Window seat

We would like to install a "window seat" in one of our bedrooms to try and give more feeling of space in the room. The initial idea is to try and achieve this by utilising the existing aluminium window and frame up a pushed out "box" around this window. The existing wooden framework would need to be lowered to allow for the appropriate seat height and back. However, the top and sides could remain the same so the supporting framed structure of the back wall of the house would not be compromised - hope that makes sense!! We first need some building drawings before proceeding to the actual building so we are looking for this now.
