I am wanting to sound out an idea and talk to someone about a long term project I am planning to have a go at...it is out-of-the-ordinary and will likely require some alternative thinking. It is a small 'tiny house' idea by scale and I am hoping to carry this out on a residential section in Nelson City Council region. I am seeking knowledgeable advice (particularly regarding council regulations/consent, foundation options, insulation, wood burner, and solar roofing) to plan my version of a 'tiny house' and see whether I can realistically achieve it.
