Concept design: Passive/energy efficient house on hillside

We are currently in the process of designing a house to build on a hillside in the Christchurch area. We hope to get to a concept design drawing over the next 3 months to be able to lock in a more precise building budget. We are interested in an energy efficient build, going towards passive if the budget allows. We are looking for a --- house plan (including a single garage) on a 15 degree hillside. Ideally we would like to further design this as a modular component, so that it can easily be extended to 230m2 in the future. We have initially looked at a 1.5x story house idea but are flexible (single or two story) depending on what would be the most functional to design and build following advice from yourself, our foundation experts and engineers. We are currently investigating the option to build on steel footings/pillars instead of using traditional concrete foundation. Would you be able to inform us about your availability during the next three months and what the cost of your service would be?
