We want to close in two decks that are over living areas

We own an older home in Karori that has been rennovated mulitple times over the years. There are two Butnyol decks on the top floor that are above bedrooms on the lower floor. One we want to turn into a veranda and close in, and the other we want to replace with a well draining roof and walkway instead of a deck.
