My kowhai tree (kowhai1) is split into 3 branches at the base as shown in kowhai2 picture. A recent wind has fallen one of the branches and the tree seems to be unstable. To prevent future mishap, I would like to cut and dispose this tree. I would like to leave a bit of tree stump to use as a seating stool.
