Tree Pruning and/or removal of large gum

I have a large gum tree on a property in Palmerston North that needs to be pruned and or removed. Removal would be a huge job as it is on the front property of a busy street. Pruning may be the best option. The tree blocks sun into the house and continually drops branches and leaves all year round. Therefore I would request a really good prune.
