Dishwasher not working

Message from my tenants Hi Martin, The dishwasher appears to be on the blink. It’s been working using the heavy duty cycle but this evening it’s stopped running and has three lights blinking. We’ve checked the error online and it’s apparently to do with the pump or drain hose, so we cleaned the filter, checked all the hoses that we can access and completed everything the manual said to try but it hasn’t helped.
