Lint and soil being left on clothes after wash

Simpson, EZIset 550, 5.5kg top loader This is a rental property which I manage, and the tenants have let me know that the washing machine is leaving copious amounts of lint on their clothes at the end of a wash and sometimes soil. Suspect its a filter issue
