F4 error (heating) on a haier washing machine

F4 heating error code has been coming up at the end of each wash and the clothes don’t feel warm so we’re pretty sure the water isn’t heating. Just weighing up getting it fixed vs new one. Also wondering if it can be fixed at home or needs sending away. Thanks!
