Sick washing machine

I need someone who is able to diagnose the issue and hopefully repair. I have recently cleaned out the drain and then did a hot wash. I have since put a small size load in and at the end of the cycle I open the door and it smells like a burnt type smell. Before cleaning the drain out it was not spinning on the spin cycle and so hence the drain clear out and hot wash.
