Repair / replace kitchen extractor fan

Kitchen extractor fan has stopped working. The tenant says that they heard 'something drop inside it' before it stopped working. The light works but the fan component doesn't. Smeg Extractor (photos attached). I would like someone to pop out and take a look, to ideally repair it. If not fixable then I would need to look to replace it. Many thanks.
