Robinhood insikerator not very happy

Our insinkerator was stopping a fair bit lately. I would normally unblock it by clearing any food and mechanically rotating the blades manually using an allen key few times. But recently even this is not working and there seems to no food stuck in the sink side of the unit. I am not sure if the unit is dying or whether something else is going on. I would be interested in tradies who can take a look first and let me know if it can be fixed or not. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on inspection.
