I think a metal wine stopper caused it to jam- nobody owned up- but when I stuck my hand in and removed it, it hasn't worked since. water slow to drain from sink even though I can't feel anything else obstructing it. Unknown age but I've been in the house 2 years so it's out of warranty. I seldom put anything in it because I compost everything but I still need it to work and drain efficiently. Thanks.
