Replace or repair cooktop and possibly the oven...

Have a Cooktop Ceran Scott Width :58cm Height :51cm and Fisher and Paykel Oven Width:59cm Height:59cm. The thermostat on cooktop is not working,elements only work on high,one element wont work as switch seems broken as goes round and round. The oven work but not on fan bake as think the fan is faulty as get super redhot but oven works otherwise. I have been in the home 17 years possibly appliances were replaced before i purchased the home. Wanting a quote as unsure if i just replace cooktop switches if it was possible or cheaper and better option to replace cooktop given the age,also can cooktop be replaced without replacing oven,or am i better to just replace both?
