we have an old wideback 60 inch tv where now the screen has become warped. I have been looking online and have come across something like this below I'm afraid your TV's convergence circuitry has failed. This is absolutely the case since your TV looks like the picture I posted. No worries... this is a very common issue with a pretty straightforward remedy. There are a few different components that comprise these circuits... a couple resistors and an integrated circuit called a convergence amplifier. now if this is the case and what our tv needs to be fixed is anyone able to tell me how much it would cost to repair??? or should we just get a new one???
