Microwave repair
Job description
We have two identical sharp carousel convection microwaves model R-9X56. One stopped working on microwave when it blew the main fuse. We replaced the fuse and it blew again. We have the impression the main capacitor may have failed. We have the sharp repair manual for this model. We ended up buying a second unit that failed not long after we got it. This appears to have had the door latch bypassed as it still ran with the door open. We were going to sort this when it too stopped working. We think this may also have blown the fuse. The microwaves are full size and there is not an equivalent available new so we are keen to get these repaired. Open to getting both repaired but happy to cannibalise one to repair other. We can drop off in wellington region within reason.

Really happy with all aspects of the repair to our microwave. Graeme fixed one unit very cost effectively and gave us a realistic appraisal of the one that was beyond repair. Stayed within budget and repair time was as discussed. Will use again for similar work.
