Freezer broken

SRS537NW Samsung freezer and fridge, the freezer keeps defrosting and freezing in cycles since we got it secondhand a week ago ( no reported issues before). Since Sunday night it's stopped freezing entirely, and has stayed that way. We've tried all of the different temperature settings. Freezer still beeps when we leave the door open for too long.
