ASKO rangehood - repair or replace?

Our ASKO rangehood is not working, I suspect the motor has given up as the lights on it still work. For a while it just would take a long time for the motor to kick in to gear, but now it never starts. Not sure if it is worth looking to repair, or just replace the whole thing. (Unsure of age of it as we inherited it when we bought the house a year ago) Advice appreciated.

Converting a rangehood from recirculating to a roof exit

I have an Everdure(RBES6061B) canopy rangehood that I need converted from recirculating to a roof exit. It has a 150mm outlet. The house is one storey with a corrugated iron roof. Can you supply the 150mm rigid ducting, a Dektite flashing, and a roof cowl, and provide a quote to install it?

Dismantle and reassemble washing machine

Hi there, I’ve got a bit of a tricky situation with my washing machine. I dropped the laundry lid between the impeller and the outer shell, and while trying to get it out myself, I also dropped my screwdriver into the inner gap. Now I’m stuck because some parts are really tight and I don’t have the right tools to go further. Would you be able to help take it apart and get the items out? Long story short – I dropped a detergent cap down between the impeller and the casing, and in my attempt to DIY it, I also managed to drop my screwdriver into the inner layer as well. Now I can’t go any further because a few fasteners are just too stubborn and I don’t have the proper tools. Waste Disposal testing

Waste disposal keeps tripping RCD fuse when turned on. Kitchen was renovated 2022, which included new wiring. Waste disposal is at least 12 years old. Would like an electrician to confirm the source of the problem (i.e. switch or waste disposal) before we go ahead and replace anything. If possible would like to do this in the next two days while I'm at home.
