Dryer installation

We need to put a dryer on the wall, there used to be an old dryer with a bracket that was wide enough for the studs but now the new one is not as wide and no longer reaches from on stud to the other in the particular place we want to install. In attached photo, blue outline is where old bracket was and red outline is where would like new dryer to go. Also attached photo of new dryer which shows on top of the dryer the two metal brackets it came with, one for each side.
