My Samsung J1045 7KG washing machine has stopped working properly. Initially error code E3 was displayed. After draining and emptying the machine I've tried a few things. It fills with water and it drains water okay but it seems that anything involving the drum rotating is a no no. After programming it to wash, it fills and then sits doing nothing on whatever the time cycle was displaying after the water entered the drum. I've tried it on the wool cycle and also the quick cycle with the same result, also tried with clothes in and an empty drum, same again. It's a second hand machine which I've had for a year without trouble to this point. If it's likely to be more than a couple of hundred dollars to fix I'll probably get a new one in the January sales.
