Washing machine repair advice

Our Fisher & Paykel washing machine gave a pop & flash on the panel when I was selecting the wash setting. I’m not sure how old the machine is & don’t know whether to get it repaired. I need someone to advise me. I want to know how much a repair would cost & if the machine warrants it. It does seem to be in good condition otherwise. If a repair is worth it I would like a quote please.
