Smeg oven thermostat broken

I suspect our oven needs a new thermostat - it turns on and heats up, but doesn't seem to be reading the temperature properly. It'll say it's barely touching 100degC, but then keep getting hotter and hotter until the killswitch kicks in and the whole oven turns off. It's done this multiple times, and gets sufficiently hot to cook a pizza but the temperature indicator light doesn't show that it's at that temperature. Not sure of the exact model but I believe it dates to the '90s and is 60cm wide.

Dave did a fantastic job installing the new thermostat, and explained what he was doing and what the issue with the old thermostat was. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and now I have a working oven again, yay!
