repair dishwasher

we ahve a fisher and paykel. model - --- double dish drawer - silver problem is that the top one gives an error code near the end of the cycle, from memory its related to element, last time i checked it out....have only been using the bottom one....which has just failed, when pushing start, get a beep code similar to when the door is open....so suspect that door open sensor is failing or the button itself......welcome any suggestions/quotes for repair etc.
