Dishwasher malfunctioning

My Haier dishwasher has several problems. The main one is that midway through a cycle it shuts down. All the lights go off. When I press the on the button they go back on but the cycle does not restart. Also, the soap dispenser doesn't open during the cycle. The model number is HDW12-SFE1WH.
