Repair Smeg Wall Oven

I have an older Smeg branded wall/under bench oven that needs a replacement rubber seal around the door and the timer display repaired - it is normally non-functional except when the oven is very hot and it starts making crackling sounds which I am sure is unsafe. Because it also takes at least half an hour to get to temperature, I suspect there may be other issues as well that I am keen to diagnose and get repaired at the same time.
