Electric stove repair (flat surface stove)

We have a flat surface stove where one of the hops doesn't work, or is very temperamental. The 3 workings hobs have switches that feel securedly connected. The dodgy hob has a switch that doesn't feel secure. Also, when we turn the dodgy switch, it looks like there's some sort of spark under the glass/ceramic surface.
