Hi there, I need to replace my current rangehood. The current one was vented through the ceiling but the mice has destroyed the ducting. I need to find out the cost of installing a new ducted rangehood (rangehood provided by me), but this time vented through the wall - if it makes it less likely to be damaged by vermin. The house exterior has brick cladding, so I was also wanting to know if a rangehood installer is able to create a new vent through the wall, and patch up the hole in the ceiling where the old ducting is.
