Bar Fridge Repair

We have an older bar fridge. We beilive it is Danish and until recently has been working fine. It starting making a tick noise, continued running for a few days, then stopped. The fridge warmed up before it stopped completely. We are not sure exactly how old it is. I can tell you is 220v and ran on R12 gas. We would like to know what our options are for repair or retro-fit of new unit.
