Heat pump dryer repair

I bought a heat pump dryer second hand. The seller said it was in good working condition when I went to pick it up. But when I got home and tested it it doesn't dry. I've noticed the following 1)water is not collected in the tray but after about 3 hours a small amount of water (15mL or so) appears under the dryer 2)After about 3-4 hours inside the tumble dryer is humid and slightly warm but I'm not sure if it's warm enough to be actually drying the clothes 3) I've cleaned all filters so there is no lint buildup 4)it does spin and have a rough time estimate to finish the drying but once it gets close to the finish time it extends which I believe might be due to the moisture sensor 5)when I picked up dryer it was laid on the side and there was a slightly sticky substance that leaked out
