When the washing machine is on a wash it stops during the wash and will read Err20. If you press the start button again the wash will continue but it is not actually washing the clothes the timer is just going down until it reaches 0. When the washing machine reads Err when the wash stops it continues beeping until you start it again or stop the wash.
