F&P fridge/freezer faulty/possible defrost heater replacement

After moving flat my F&P E402B started shorting the home circuit after 12 hours of operation, then after about 4-5 hours of being left alone it will run again just fine for the next 12 hours. I've been told it sounds like the defrost heater needs replacing then it should be fine but have been quoted hundreds just for call outs and then labour then the cost of the item itself. Hoping for a reasonably priced quote to install this part or troubleshooting if you believe it's something else. Attached a photo with product model etc for better job identification. cheers, James
