Connecting TV to Freeview

Our house isn't getting TV. We got a new TV that receives Freeview, but the 'TV 'plugs' aren't picking up any signals. So we cannot tune to Freeview. There's an sky dish on our roof, not sure if it's still connected and working. Maybe that can be used to get a signal? Otherwise, we also have these 2 cables coming out from the wall (pictured: 2 white cables coming out from the wall, one male and one female) - can they be useful somehow? TV is a Veon 32 inch LED-LCD TV with Built-in DVD Player VN3299LEDDVD-B (from The Warehouse) Pretty sure this house never switched-over to Freeview (as it had Sky at the time), so it may or may not need the suitable antenna for that.
