Fix TV signal problem

Hi there I have recently moved into a house in Takapuna that has TV signal in the upstairs and a satellite dish, not connected to a service, which I may rightly or wrongly be assuming is providing the signal for the upstairs telly. I have another outlet/coax point downstairs in the kitchen but there does not appear to be any signal from that socket. So I suppose what I'm asking is if you could come and have a look and see what connections i need to establish a signal downstairs at my house. Is this something you could consider?
