Hidden tv recessed above new fireplace

Project description

A beautiful home with an outdated layout, the scope was to open up the kitchen living and dining to create a warm and stunning characterful space.

The kitchen was completely redone opening up one wall to the dining room and closing off the hallway access to increase Bench space. Custom floating shelves and a beautiful glass door hung in a new cupboard which was taken from the owners earthquake damaged house.
The old brick fireplace and wall seperating the living and dining room was taken out and a new gas fire installed on the living room side.
The bay windows were extended out to create 2 sun soaked lounge seats that are usable.
